About the game

What you do in a play session

Prepare for liftoff on an epic space adventure with Stars of Akarios! This isn't just another spaceship game; it's a cooperative, story-driven campaign where you and your friends (or you solo, if you prefer!) step into the boots of space cadets. The trouble starts when a mysterious enemy attacks your home planet, Medellia. Then, my friend, it's time to suit up and fight alongside the legendary Captain Soma aboard the ship Sparrow.

The game revolves around four pillars: breathtaking space combat, exploration of alien planets and ships, discovering the universe's frontiers, and the progression of your characters. Each cadet has unique abilities and their own evolution system, allowing you to customize your playstyle. The ships also have their own quirks and can be equipped with a ton of upgrades – there are over 160 cards including weapons, engines, and technologies! The game map is modular and expands as you progress, creating a dynamic universe with each playthrough.

The 200-page scenario book acts like a 'choose your own adventure' book, where every decision, success, or failure shapes your civilization's destiny. Get ready to roll dice, manage resources wisely (and with a bit of luck!), and unravel the mysteries of the Akarios galaxy. It's an immersive experience that promises many hours of fun, with the potential for multiple playthroughs to see everything the universe has to offer.
