Get ready for the stock market frenzy in Animalia, where investors of all kinds are looking for the next big play! In Stonks, you join a quirky cast of characters, from rabbits seeking quick profits to wolves rumored to be involved in pyramid schemes, all with an eye on company stock prices. The game combines classic trick-taking strategy with the excitement of the stock market, creating a unique and fun experience.
Each round, one player leads the trick, and the others must follow suit if possible. The player who plays the highest card wins the trick and, here's the twist, chooses one of the played cards to add to their portfolio. Each suit represents shares of a company, and the value of these shares can change dramatically. Some special cards allow you to manipulate the market, boosting the value of your shares or, perhaps, crashing those of your opponents. Furthermore, a personal Speculation Card can turn the game upside down at any moment. In the end, the investor with the most victory points, calculated by the value of the shares in their possession, will shout 'STONKS!' and be the big winner. It's a fast-paced game, full of interaction and strategic decisions that will make you feel like a true stock market shark... or a clever rabbit!
