About the game
Super Dungeon Explore: Forgotten King invites you on an epic adventure into the Lordship Ruins, where Princess Emerald and her companions must confront the darkness that has spread. The Forgotten King, a cursed lord, has pledged allegiance to the Dark Consul, transforming his once vibrant lands into a shadowy domain. He's not alone, aided by two new mini-bosses: Trent, a towering forest guardian with bark and brambles for armor, and Boris, a raging brute with snarling ursine features.

On this journey, players will explore the Fae Wood, home to the Kodama, sentient forest spirits who have a taste for adventuring Heroes. But beware! Wisps may lure you into ensnaring traps, and terrifying, man-eating plants sprout from the forest floor to devour them. Continue into the Lordship Ruins where the once proud bramble knights, now corrupted and twisted into servants of the Dark Consul, stalk the stony ruins for any who would defile their lord's holdfast. And don't get too close to the trees, we hear the squirrels are in an ill mood!

Forgotten King introduces five new Heroes for you to choose from, including the Thundervale Huntress, Fae Alchemist, Royal Warden, and the brave Questing Knight. Each brings a unique dynamic to gameplay and new strategies to conquer the Forgotten King and his minions. The game offers two play modes: Classic Mode, where one player controls the dungeon and its monsters while everyone else takes on the roles of the plucky heroes, and Arcade Mode, which allows for a fully cooperative game for up to five players. While a standalone game, Forgotten King is fully compatible with all previously published Super Dungeon Explore expansions and supplements, ensuring even more fun and possibilities for your gaming sessions.
