Step by step

Goal of the Game

In SuperACTION, the goal is to score as many points as possible. To do this, you must navigate the obstacle courses before time runs out.

Setup

  1. Place the game board on a flat surface.
  2. Set the "timer" lock to the "off" position and turn the center knob clockwise to the "start" position.
  3. Place the "timer" in the center of the game board, fitting the gates at the end of each obstacle course.
  4. Each player must choose a color of marbles to play with and must stick with that same color until the end of the game.
  5. Place one marble in the "start" position on the scorecard, in the corresponding color row.
  6. Choose one obstacle course and place the five remaining marbles in the rectangular compartment.
  7. Place one of your marbles in the "start" position.
  8. Release the timer lock by moving it to the "on" position.

Gameplay

The game is played in rounds where time runs against the players. As soon as the timer lock is activated, time starts running. You must play with one marble at a time.

When time runs out, the "timer" gates close automatically. At that moment, remove the "timer" and count the points to be marked on the scorecard. After marking, the game board must be rotated counter-clockwise so that the player is in front of a new obstacle course, continuing the game.

Actions and How to Play

The player must manipulate the marbles through the chosen obstacle course until they enter the center of the "timer". It is forbidden to touch the marbles with your hands to assist them on their path.

Depending on the chosen course, the gameplay mechanics change:

  • Radical Surf: You must shake the marbles on the waves of the track, back and forth, until they dive into the center of the "timer".
  • Crazy Basketball: You must shoot the marbles forward until they make a basket in the center of the "timer".
  • Bouncy Jump: You must tap the trigger button so that the marbles jump from one stage to another until they enter the center of the "timer".
  • Motocross: You must go up and down the obstacles by lightly pressing the trigger button until they reach the center of the "timer".

Important: If one or more marbles fall into the gutter or off the track, they are automatically out for the round. Continue playing with the ones that remain.

End of Game and Scoring

The game ends when all players have gone through the 4 obstacle courses. The winner is the one with the highest number of points on the scorecard. In the event of a tie, the players with the same number of points can compete again in the last round to decide the game.

Scoring is determined by the number of marbles that successfully enter the "timer":

  • The player with the highest number of marbles: advances 3 spaces on the scorecard.
  • Second place: advances 2 spaces on the scorecard.
  • Third place: advances 1 space on the scorecard.
  • Fourth place: does not advance.

Note: The player who fails to get any marbles into the "timer" does not score points. In case of a tie in the marble count, players mark the same number of points on the scorecard, according to the ranking obtained.
