Sushi Roll brings the charm of Sushi Go! into the dice realm, mixing fast drafting with the thrill of rolling. Each player has their own conveyor of colorful dice, each face showing a sushi type, a menu, or chopsticks. At the start of a round everyone rolls, then picks one die to keep and passes the rest to the next player. The goal is to build scoring combos: two Tempura dice give 5 points, three Sashimi score 10, and a Nigiri paired with Wasabi can double its value.
If luck isn’t on your side, the menu lets you re‑roll some dice, while the chopsticks allow you to swap a die with another player, creating unexpected negotiation moves. At the end, pudding (dessert) comes into play: the player with the fewest puddings gets a bonus, but having too many can incur penalties, so leaving a slot open is wise.
With simple rules, games run about 20 minutes and support 2‑5 players, making it perfect for families or friends who enjoy quick, thematic play. The low weight (1.28/5) means beginners catch on fast, yet the mix of open drafting, re‑rolling, and set collection provides enough depth for those who love optimizing every pick. Components are top‑notch: vivid, icon‑filled dice stored in a sleek metal tin that feels like a sushi bar. In short, Sushi Roll serves up the same combo‑building strategy, just with louder dice and fewer cards.
