About the game
If you love the challenge of building something perfect while keeping a close eye on your opponents' moves, Swordcrafters Expanded Edition is your new obsession. The concept is simple, but don't let that fool you: you are a blacksmith striving to forge the most legendary sword to protect the kingdom. While the base game is already a blast, this expanded edition adds a layer of complexity that ensures high replayability.

How does it work? The game features a grid of sword tiles. Each round, you make a cut in the grid, separating a piece from the original tile. Then, you select one of these pieces to add to your own sword. Your goal is to assemble a blade that is long, high-quality (with matching gems on the sides), and possesses specific magical properties. It's a constant balancing act between what you need and what your friend is about to snatch away!

The real star here is the addition of three new modules: Mastery, Relics, and Tips. These aren't just extra pieces; they shift the game's dynamics. The Relics module introduces new tiles that make the grid more complex; Tips adds personal goals to guide your strategy; and Mastery offers mini-challenges to complete during the game. You can play with all of them for a deep, intense experience or pick and choose to change the pace. At around 30 minutes, it's the perfect filler or a quick session to end the night. Grab your hammer and gems—the forge is hot!
