About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for a mischievous adventure with Tails of Mischief 2, a game that transforms a beautifully illustrated deck of cards into a dynamic game board! Inspired by classic Japanese sugoroku, this title promises a unique experience where cards fit together like a puzzle, forming a visually stunning tapestry that serves as your path to victory. The goal is simple: be the first to reach the end of the course. But don't be fooled, simplicity hides layers of fun and decision-making!

You can choose from three distinct game modes, each adding its own flavor to the journey. In 'The Journey', the rules are quite straightforward: roll the die, move your pawn, and decide between shortcuts or longer paths at forks in the road. In 'The Adventure', the game gains a strategic layer, as all players stop at each fork and, in their next turn, must choose between the shortcut or the longer route. If you opt for the shortcut, you'll still have to predict whether the next die roll will be odd or even to advance. Correct? You move. Incorrect? You stay put!

But the real magic happens in 'The Hidden Garden', where the board comes to life collaboratively. Even before starting, players together establish rules based on the elements on the cards. Imagine: each ladybird on the card propels you one space forward, while a woodlouse sends you one space backward! It's an incredible way to customize the experience and ensure that each game is different, transforming the card art into interactive game elements. Tails of Mischief 2 is more than a card game; it's a constantly changing canvas, ready for your mischief!
