About the game
What you do in a play session
Picture three monkeys who decided to start a construction company. Each has a unique skill: one can’t talk, another can’t see, and the third sits in the middle, interpreting everything. The goal? Build structures using the construction plans that appear on the table, but time is ticking – it’s a real‑time game with no turns. The monkey who can’t talk sees the blueprint but can only use gestures to give clues. He can’t talk or write, so communication is really limited. The middle monkey decodes those gestures and relays the info to the monkey who can’t see. That last one, who has his eyes closed, is the one who actually assembles the structure with the pieces, following the instructions he receives. The “communication limits” mechanic creates a fun tension because nobody can simply say what needs to be done. Plus, because the game is real‑time, players must think quickly and coordinate actions without waiting for a turn. Teamwork is central: each monkey has an indispensable role, and victory depends on how well the team understands and works together. The components are simple but well made: 3D building pieces, blueprint cards, and time markers. The game comes in two editions, GREEN and ROSE, each with its own set of blueprints and a mini‑expansion that adds variety. If you like communication challenges, fast games, and teamwork, TEAM3 GREEN will make you laugh and push you at the same time. The price is affordable and the playtime is short, ideal for 30‑minute sessions. The only drawback might be the learning curve that comes with the communication limits, but the tutorial helps a lot. In short, it’s a fun team game that tests your ability to communicate without words and act in real time.
