About the game

What you do in a play session

The 7th Continent: The Crystal’s Song is an expansion that spices up the already popular cooperative exploration base. The idea is to put players on a crystal‑discovering quest that triggers unexpected events when found. The modular board mechanic remains, but you can now pick from three game modes that change the difficulty and gameplay dynamics. If you want a quicker run, the "Crystal Song" mode shortens the duration and introduces crystal‑specialized discovery cards. For those who like to feel invincible, the "Prodigy" mode gives extra action cards for more movement and ability activation options. And if your heart races, the "Immortal" mode places a medallion that, when used, revives a player after a failure, but at a high cost: eternal life comes at a price you must discover. For drama lovers, there’s also the "Traitor Among Us" mode, which introduces destiny cards that can make you kill a teammate or die in an epic way. The game keeps the same adventure and exploration aesthetic, but adds layers of choice and twists that make each session unique. If you already own the base, the expansion brings new cards, an extra board and rules that boost replayability while keeping the pace fast and the sense of discovery that the series is known for. In short, the expansion offers more game options, more challenges, and, of course, more opportunities for improvised narratives in a world of crystals and mysteries.
