About the game
In the late 21st century, the powerful Achab Corporation dominates the world thanks to its access to Gene.sys, a mysterious database infinitely rich in information. But Achab isn't alone in this race for knowledge: Breachers, skilled hackers, also seek to infiltrate Gene.sys to steal data and strengthen their own factions. The problem is that the A.R.M. (Achab Remote Mind) security system, a super-sophisticated AI, is always watching and ready to combat any intrusion, and it seems something isn't quite right with it…

In The Breach, you take on the role of a Breacher, a digital rebel with your own ideals or faction interests, in a competitive 'Net Crawler' game for 1 to 4 players. Your objective is simple yet challenging: infiltrate Gene.sys, spread your viruses, and collect as much secret information as possible. The game map is Gene.sys itself, a constantly changing virtual universe. Inside, your digital avatars will face dangers like other Breachers and the dreaded I.C.E.s controlled by A.R.M., which won't hesitate to use powerful Guardians to protect the database.

Featuring a unique resource management system, set collection mechanics, and variable player powers, each game of The Breach promises a fresh experience. Your choice of Avatar, Breacher, and the database structure itself change each time, requiring you to be clever to optimize your resources and find the best strategy. Get ready to upgrade your Avatar, fight Guardians, explore rooms, install programs, and use cheat codes to manipulate Gene.sys to your advantage. And watch your Avatar's health: getting disconnected might even be a strategic opportunity!
