About the game
What you do in a play session
The city of Tinderbox is on fire (shocking, right?), and now’s your chance to shine as fire chief! In *The Brigade*, you control a rival firehouse, competing to earn citizens’ loyalty by extinguishing blazes and making strategic upgrades. With action-point mechanics, you choose each turn: hire more crew, upgrade your fire truck, or dash to save a burning block? The modular board ensures no two games play alike, while area majority battles heat up the competition. To win, you’ll need respect from 5 blocks of the same type or varied — or impress the city’s elites before the game ends. Pro tip: don’t let those pyromancers at the university distract you!
