A Storm on Cobas Haven is the fifth adventure pack in the Dream‑Chaser cycle for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game. After sailing across seas, battling corsairs and sea monsters, and navigating the treacherous jungle paths of an undead‑infested island, the heroes return to Dol Amroth only to find the city threatened by a corsair fleet. The scenario places players in the defense of the city and its fleet, demanding mastery of sailing and ship‑to‑ship combat. Hand management is central: each player must decide which cards to play, which to discard, and how to maximize collective power. Variable player powers also let each hero bring a unique strategy to the fight. The pack adds 30 new player cards (three copies of ten different cards), reinforcing the Dream‑Chaser cycle’s focus on powerful allies and secondary effects that can be paid for by the group. The experience is cooperative, with players working side‑by‑side to defeat the corsairs and protect Dol Amroth. The game retains Tolkien’s epic atmosphere, blending literary narrative with collectible card mechanics and deck building. If you enjoy naval strategy challenges and teamwork, A Storm on Cobas Haven delivers engaging, thematic play in 60 minutes with up to two players. Components include a card deck, damage and victory tokens, and a scenario board representing the city and fleet.
