About the game
Prepare your heart and your blade, because the journey continues! In 'The Dark of Mirkwood', your Fellowship has narrowly escaped the nightmare of Dol Guldur and, after a well-deserved rest in Lórien, fate puts you in danger once again. As you return to Thranduil, the sky darkens with the smoke of devastated villages. The scene is bleak: scattered bodies and the terrible black arrows of Goblins indicate that the worst has happened. With the last wishes of a survivor echoing in your ears, you take on the mission to rescue the captives or avenge the dead, diving into the depths of Mirkwood.

This scenario pack brings two intense adventures: 'The Oath' and 'The Caves of Nibin-dûm'. Originally, these challenges were part of a limited collector's edition, but now they are available to everyone, fully updated. With the arrival of the Revised Core Set, the game introduces new boon and burden cards, adding layers of strategy and tension to the combat.

Versatility is the key here: you can face these two scenarios as an independent mini-campaign or integrate them into the 'Mirkwood Paths' journey from the core set. If you enjoy the feeling of building the perfect deck to face hordes of enemies in a hostile environment, this content is essential. The question remains: will you have the cunning necessary to track the Goblins and save the prisoners, or will the darkness of Mirkwood be the end of your journey? The tension is constant, cooperation is vital, and every card played can be the difference between victory and the total defeat of your company.
