About the game

What you do in a play session

Grab your torch and grip your sword tight, because the journey now descends into the depths of Moria! In 'The Long Dark', you and your fellow adventurers face one of the most claustrophobic and tense scenarios in The Lord of the Rings LCG. After brutal clashes at the gates of the Dwarven city, the group must infiltrate the ancient tunnels to uncover why Orc activity in the Misty Mountains has spiked. The catch? The path is dark, suffocating, and riddled with hazards.

This adventure pack is the fourth installment of the 'Dwarrowdelf' cycle and adds 60 new cards to boost your deck. You'll get a new hero and extra copies of player cards, allowing for more powerful and strategic combinations. But don't be fooled: the new scenario is ruthless. Besides fighting off Goblin bands, the group must deal with the mechanics of navigating in the dark. One wrong turn or a hasty decision in the tunnels can lead to your heroes getting lost, and in Moria, losing your way usually means total disaster.

The game demands rigorous hand management and total cooperation among players to survive. If you love that feeling of 'we're almost there, but everything could go wrong at any second', this scenario is perfect. Keep in mind that, as an Adventure Pack, it doesn't stand alone. To brave this darkness, you absolutely need the Core Set and the Khazad-dûm expansion. It's the final piece of the puzzle for those who want to experience the tension of exploring the mountain's depths while trying not to be swallowed by the shadows.
