About the game
What you do in a play session
Prepare for another epic adventure in Middle-earth with *The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Mûmakil*. This is the first adventure pack in the Haradrim cycle, taking you on a journey back to Gondor after surviving perils in Far Harad. The mission is long, over 500 miles through unknown and dangerous lands, demanding your heroes remain constantly alert and well-prepared. To make the journey more feasible, the story leads you to capture Oliphaunts to serve as mounts, a daring idea that could be the key to success.
As expected from the Lord of the Rings universe, tension is high and challenges are many. The pack introduces a new hero to join your cause, along with 27 new player cards (three copies of nine different types). These cards focus on creating new partnerships and synergies, encouraging the formation of fellowships based on common traits and even alliances with the mysterious Haradrim. New powerful events emerge, requiring you to think strategically about how to build your community and which allies to bring into the fight. The experience is fully cooperative, whether playing solo or with a friend, and demands good hand management and the clever use of each hero's unique powers to overcome the obstacles on the path home.
