Get ready for heated debates and guaranteed laughs with The Metagame! This card game is pure fun for anyone who loves to voice their opinion on EVERYTHING: music, movies, art, fashion, food, and even video games. The concept is simple: you and your friends will talk about culture, something you probably already do anyway.
The game comes with two types of cards: CULTURE cards, featuring cultural icons and objects (think Mona Lisa or Ms. Pac-Man), and OPINION cards, with thought-provoking questions like 'Which feels like first love?' or 'Best reminder of our mortality?'. The cool part is that The Metagame doesn't have just one way to play. There are six different modes that vary in complexity and focus.
There's 'Matchmakers', to pair culture and opinion; 'History 101', to organize everything chronologically; 'Debate Club', to defend your opinion tooth and nail; 'Head to Head', a race to get rid of your cards first; 'Massively Multiplayer Metagame', perfect for huge parties; and 'Metaquilt', a clever mix of strategy and discussion. It works anywhere, from board game events to trendy bars. The Kickstarter version even brings more cards and options. If you enjoy discussing what's important in pop culture, The Metagame is for you!
