About the game
What you do in a play session
Hold on to your hats, folks! In "The Vale of Eternity: Curse," the vale is heating up, but not in a good way. An ancient evil, which has been slumbering for ages, has decided to wake up and is spreading like a plague through everyone, whether you're a powerful mage or just any apprentice. The big question is: will you stand firm against the sinister influence of the Curse-Tree, or will you surrender and seek its dark 'blessings'? This expansion brings a brand-new module, with cards that go straight into the base game's deck, and also some 'Tamer' tiles that add extra spice. And for those who already enjoy the game, the good news is that "Curse" can be combined with the other expansion, "Artifacts," for an even more souped-up experience. Prepare to manage your hand of cards like never before, make tough choices in the open draft, and collect the right items to survive. We know having unique player powers is already cool, but here things get more intense, with the curse potentially becoming a resource for you. It's a light-weight game, ideal for those who want something quick (30-60 minutes) but with decisions that make you think. Perfect for 2 to 4 players who enjoy fantasy and aren't afraid of an extra challenge. The complexity is moderate, but with the help of a translated guide, it becomes much easier to get into the swing of things.
