About the game
If you're already a fan of the Ticket to Ride vibe, get ready to explore Germany! This is a standalone title in the series, meaning you don't need any other box to start the fun. The premise is what we love: collect color-specific cards to claim routes between cities on the map. Your main goal is to connect the cities listed on your secret destination tickets, but be careful: any incomplete tickets will count against your score at the end of the game!

But wait, there's an extra twist here. Unlike the classic base game, Ticket to Ride: Germany introduces the passenger mechanic. Whenever you place a train on a route, you can 'claim' the passengers from the cities at the endpoints (provided they haven't been taken yet). At the end of the match, the player with the most passengers of each of the six colors earns a generous 20-point bonus, while the second place gets 10 points. This adds an interesting strategic layer: will you focus solely on your tickets, or will you try to 'snatch' passengers from your opponents to secure those extra points?

For the trivia buffs: this game is essentially a combination of the old 'Zug um Zug: Deutschland' and the 'Deutschland 1902' expansion. It features the classic regional map but with an updated, more dynamic passenger scoring system. It's the perfect blend of simplicity and competitiveness, ideal for those who want the classic TTR experience but with an extra goal to make the table more heated. Whether you're a railway master or someone who has never played a board game in their life, the learning curve is very low and the fun is immediate. Who can dominate the German routes and transport the most passengers?

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need another Ticket to Ride to play this?
Nope! It's a standalone game, meaning everything you need is included in the box.
What's the difference between this and the base game?
Besides the Germany map, the main difference is the passenger collection, which provides extra points at the end.
Is it hard to learn?
Not at all! If you know the TTR basics, you'll get it in 5 minutes. If you've never played, 15 minutes is plenty.
How long does a game last?
Usually between 30 to 60 minutes, making it great for those who don't want to spend the whole afternoon on one game.
How many players is it for?
2 to 5 players. It works great in any configuration, but with 4 or 5, the fight for map space gets more intense.
