About the game
What you do in a play session
But don't think it's just a new map, mind you! Ticket to Ride: Europe introduces fresh gameplay elements that add a special flavor to your travels. Tunnels, for example, might require you to pay extra cards to build them, adding a layer of strategy. Ferries, on the other hand, can only be claimed if you have the coveted locomotive cards. And Stations? Oh, they're a lifesaver! They allow you to use an opponent's route segment to connect your own cities, even if it costs you a few points at the end. Additionally, the game comes with larger format cards and charming Train Station pieces, which add an extra touch to the table.
The main objective remains the same: collect and play train cards to place your pieces on the board, linking the cities that appear on your Destination Ticket cards. You earn points both for building your routes and for completing these objectives, but be careful: uncompleted objectives can make you lose precious points! In the end, whoever has the highest score is the grand master of European railways. And best of all: it's a complete, standalone game, no need to own the original version to have fun!
