About the game
What you do in a play session
When the Heroes' Tournament ends, you become one of the Tidal Blades, the elite guardians of Naviri Island. But the Fold – the frozen section of space and time that protects Naviri from sea monsters – starts to become increasingly unstable. The High Engineers of the Citadel hand you the Nexus, a device that allows you to traverse the Fold and thaw its freeze. Together with your fellow Tidal Blades, you enter the Fold to uncover its mysteries and attempt to rescue the old guard trapped inside when the Fold was created. In each game, players take on the role of a new Tidal Blade and work together through 18 scenarios, each with unique maps and varied challenges. The Nexus functions as a grid where you can place action cards; when you place a card, you activate the entire row or column it occupies, creating powerful combos. Throughout the campaign, your character evolves by adding cards to the deck, improving attributes such as Spirit, Focus, Resilience, and Synergy, unlocking abilities, and acquiring items that boost your actions. With over 40 hours of gameplay, Tidal Blades 2: Rise of the Unfolders takes you on an exploration of lush islands, meeting valuable allies, facing an endless army of monsters, and ultimately solving the Fold mystery in time to save Naviri and earn your place among the legendary Tide Blades. The game blends rich narrative, meaningful choices, and cooperative mechanics that demand strategy and coordination among players, making each mission a unique adventure.
