About the game

What you do in a play session

Timeline: Music & Cinema is that card game that will put your musical memory to the test in less than 15 minutes per round. With 110 cards, each showing a historical event on one side and the corresponding year on the other, the goal is to place the cards on the table in correct chronological order. You flip the card, reveal the date, and if it fits in sequence with the ones already on the table, the card stays; if not, it’s discarded and you draw another. The first to empty their hand wins, but if there’s a tie in the same round, the winners continue while the others are eliminated. The game works in groups of 2 to 8 players, and the fun comes from fast competition and the chance to surprise your opponents. It also works with other Timeline series titles, letting you mix genres such as cinema, science, or history. It’s perfect for parties, happy hours, or family trivia sessions, but beware: if you don’t have a date reference or don’t like keeping track of dates, it can be a bit frustrating. The card line mechanic requires focus and speed, so those who enjoy a quick pace will love it. In short, if you enjoy music, history, and want a game that tests your knowledge in real time, Timeline: Music & Cinema is the right pick.
