In Trambahn, we journey back to late 19th-century Munich, a period of expansion and modernization, especially in transportation. Here, two players step into the shoes of ambitious entrepreneurs, vying for a crucial contract to expand the city's successful new tramway network. The game unfolds on a card grid, where versatility is key: each card you hold can be used in three distinct ways. You can deploy them as passengers for your tram lines, as suggested stops for new routes you're building, or as currency to fund these constructions.

When you decide to establish new stops, strategy comes into play: you must match card colors and arrange them in ascending order. But simply building the line isn't enough; you need to attract passengers to it, as they are the ones who will generate victory points. The cards themselves are a highlight, illustrated as antique postcards, showcasing Munich's streetcars and historical city landmarks, adding a thematic charm to the experience. It's a game that blends planning, resource management, and a dash of racing to see who builds the best tram network and attracts the most passengers.
