Hey dice fans! If you enjoyed the vibe of 'Ganz Schön Clever', get ready, because 'Twice as Clever!' is here to double the fun and challenges! Released in 2019, this 'roll-and-write' raises the bar, keeping the essence we love, but with a fresh twist.
Each round, the active player rolls six colored dice. The clever part is that you choose one die to mark on your scoring sheet, and here's the smart bit, all dice with values lower than the chosen one are set aside. The remaining dice are re-rolled, and the process repeats for up to three choices by the active player. The white die is a wild card, able to take on the color and value of any of the other five, which opens up a range of strategic possibilities.
But the fun isn't just for the active player! After the active player makes their choices, the other participants aren't left empty-handed. They can choose one of the set-aside dice to use on their own scoring sheets. This keeps everyone engaged and thinking about the best moves, even when it's not their turn. 'Twice as Clever!' introduces five new dice-marking challenges and a brand-new action, which add even more depth and insane combos compared to its predecessor. It's pure move optimization and that satisfying feeling of putting together the perfect sequence!
