Vagrantsong casts you as a traveler trapped on this supernatural train, where a seemingly welcoming hand might hide terrifying dangers. Your mission is to confront the Haints, the haunted spirits wandering the carriages, and unravel the dark secrets of this journey.

This is a cooperative game where you and your friends must work together to survive. Each turn, you'll use your Action Points (represented by coins) to move around the grid-based board, investigate the train's mysteries, collect useful items, and, most importantly, try to free the tormented souls of the Haints. Each Haint is unique, with their own tactics and gameplay mechanics, so expect constant challenges and spooky twists.

Vagrantsong's campaign is divided into over 20 scenarios, each presenting a new story and challenges. Along the way, you can acquire Skills and items (called 'Junk') that allow you to customize your character and adapt your playstyle. After each scenario, there will be a moment of rest to heal your character, swap cards, and prepare for the next confrontation.
