Villannex

In Villannex, the competition is fierce, but friendly – at least at first! Imagine a meeting of mayors who, after a few drinks, decide to turn their chat into a competition to see who has the most impressive village. Each player starts with six cards, mostly buildings and two special production cards. The goal is to choose four of these cards to build your village, and then, simultaneously, select two of them to "produce" resources, deciding whether to use the left or right side of the card. Each building has its own way of scoring, and these scores can depend on what you produced, what others produced, or a mix of both. Whoever builds the highest-scoring village wins the glory (and maybe the mayoral seat!). It's a fast-paced game with matches lasting only 15 minutes, ideal for those who enjoy quick decisions and a touch of luck when seeing what others are up to. With a very light complexity, it's perfect for relaxing and having a simple game session, but with that strategic hint for those who want to optimize production and scoring.
