About the game
What you do in a play session
In Vindication, you begin your journey of redemption cast overboard, shipwrecked on a mysterious and hostile island, with nothing but your willpower. Your mission is clear: reclaim lost honor and prove your worth. This highly strategic fantasy game for 2 to 5 players, with matches lasting between 45 and 150 minutes (about 15-30 minutes per player), challenges you to master resources, control areas, and make tactical choices each turn. You'll have the freedom to perform three actions, in the order you prefer: activate a companion, explore new locations, or interact with map tiles. The key to success lies in the alchemy of heroic attributes: you transform your influence into basic attributes (like inspiration and strength) and combine them to create more powerful ones (like courage), which unlock the game's most valuable rewards. Throughout the game, you'll recruit eccentric companions, collect bizarre relics, develop unique character traits, and confront unusual monsters. With end-game triggers that can be influenced by your strategy, over 72 unique card abilities offering powerful combinations, and a modular board ensuring high replayability, Vindication promises an epic and different adventure every session.
