Take command of your own ship and crew and dive into a world brimming with vibrant port towns, fearsome sea creatures, and plenty of treasure. Your goal is to build the most impressive nation by exploring islands, gathering valuable resources, recruiting loyal sailors, and even enlisting pirates and sea monsters to expand your influence. Each town you conquer or befriend unlocks new opportunities, allowing you to perform its actions for free and even charge opponents a fee. But beware, the competition is fierce! You can choose to be a ruthless conqueror, a shrewd diplomat forging alliances, or a cunning merchant amassing wealth. The beauty of Islebound lies in the variety of strategies you can employ. Construct unique buildings in your capital city, each with special abilities that can boost your game, whether in trade, construction, or combat. The player who accumulates the most wealth and boasts the most spectacular capital at the end of the game will be crowned the winner. Featuring a modular board for high replayability and an engaging mix of mechanics like dice rolling, worker placement, and resource management, Islebound offers a rich experience for those who enjoy planning and taking calculated risks.
