About the game

What you do in a play session

Viticulture: Arboriculture and Formaggio Expansions bring two new layers to the already charming world of viticulture. The Arboriculture expansion introduces olive trees, apples, and tomatoes that grow in the same fields as grapes, but are processed on an extension of the vineyard track. These new crops increase the value of wine orders and can be used to boost worker morale, which rises when they receive extra tasks. The Formaggio expansion, on the other hand, brings cows and cheese to the game. With 18 cows and six wine cellar tokens, players can trade cows in the “trade one for one” area of the extended board, trade them for money, cards, or grape tokens, and even use cheese to enhance wine orders. Three new structures – Cheesemonger, Affinatore, and Formager – offer options for selling, aging, or discarding cheese for victory points. Together, the two expansions double the game’s complexity and add about fifteen minutes of extra fun, making Viticulture even more engaging for fans of resource strategy, farming, and gastronomy.
