About the game
In Viticulture Essential Edition, you embark on the delightful journey of managing a winery in pre-modern Tuscany. Starting with a modest plot of land, a small cellar, and three dedicated workers, your goal is to transform this small endeavor into the region's greatest success. Each year, you must decide how your workers will be allocated, taking advantage of the peculiarities of each season. In summer and winter, the available tasks change, and competition for them is real – whoever arrives first usually gains an advantage. But don't worry, Tuscan hospitality attracts many visitors! These visitor cards can be a big help, offering valuable assistance in exchange for a little attention from your workers. With their help and your employees, you will expand your vineyards, build new structures, plant vines, and, of course, fulfill wine orders to achieve glory. This 'Essential' edition is a complete package, bringing the Viticulture base game and some of the most beloved modules from the original Tuscany expansion. Get ready to experience the Mamas & Papas, Fields (formerly known as Properties), and expanded and revised visitors modules. And for those who enjoy playing solo, the edition includes Automa cards for a super engaging solo experience, plus some fine-tuning of the rules to make everything even smoother. It's your chance to become a wine magnate!
