About the game
Hey there, coffee and dice lovers! Get ready for a quick shot of strategy with VivaJava: The Coffee Game: The Dice Game, affectionately known as VivaJava Dice. This is the successor to the acclaimed VivaJava: The Coffee Game, and in it, you take on the roles of VivaJava CoffeeCo. employees, on a global mission to find the best beans and keep the company on top, all while trying to stay ahead of the other executives. The big twist here is the crucial decision between blending beans to create a best-seller or investing in research. When blending, you use your dice to create blends that yield quick points. But the question is: will you push your luck in subsequent rounds for bigger points, even with fewer dice available? Or do you prefer research, using your valuable beans to unlock dice-manipulating abilities, new ways to score, and even paths to aid a competitor (with a future payoff in mind, of course) or hinder them for immediate gratification? VivaJava Dice also features a super interesting cooperative dice-rolling system: you can rise to the top, but someone else might ride your coattails. With an amazing mix of plug-and-play research abilities, a dash of subtle social play in semi-cooperative mode, and the chance to hog all the glory with the best blend, VivaJava Dice is all about choice, making each game fast, furious, and totally different!
