About the game
What you do in a play session
In VIVO, you step into the role of a music teacher training puppies for the grand admission exam to the prestigious "VIVO Puppy Choir." Each round, a new "harmony" (Solo, Duet, Trio, or Quartet) is revealed, dictating how many cards of each suit must be played in the trick. If a player cannot follow the harmony, they play "off-harmony" and are ineligible for points that round. At the end of each trick, the player who played the highest on-harmony card scores two points, while the lowest on-harmony card earns points based on its value – those bass notes are so important!
This trick-taking game is perfect for those who enjoy a fast-paced dynamic with a charming thematic twist. With every trick, the way cards combine changes, requiring players to adapt and send their talented puppies onto the stage at the right moment. It's a cute competition where strategy meets luck, all packed into a tiny box format that fits in your pocket. Ideal for those seeking a light game with interesting decisions, where music and puppies blend to create a fun and engaging experience. With simple rules and quick playtime, VIVO is a great choice to kick off an evening or play on the go. It's a delightful card game that brings the joy of music and the charm of dogs together in a unique and accessible package.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
Who is VIVO recommended for?
VIVO is great for families, couples, and groups of friends who enjoy quick card games with a light and fun theme. If you like trick-taking games or simply adore puppies, you'll have a blast!
What is the game's complexity?
It's a very light game! The rules are easy to grasp in just a few minutes, making it accessible even for those with less board game experience.
How long does a game take?
Games are super quick, usually lasting between 20 to 30 minutes, perfect for playing multiple rounds or when you're short on time.
How many players can participate?
VIVO is designed for 3 to 4 players, ensuring good dynamics in small to medium-sized groups.
Is the music and dog theme well integrated into the rules?
Yes! The concept of "harmony" and the puppies' "voices" directly connects to the mechanics of following suits and scoring with specific cards, adding an extra charm to the gameplay.
Is this a game for those who prefer deep strategy or more luck?
VIVO balances both well. There's strategy in deciding when to play your cards and trying to anticipate opponents, but the order cards appear and the round's "harmony" introduce an element of luck that keeps the game dynamic.
