About the game
What you do in a play session
War at Sea is a simple yet strategic wargame that recreates the Battle of the Atlantic and naval conflicts in the Mediterranean during World War II. The board divides the seas into 6 areas, and players move their ships from home ports to these regions. When ships meet, battle ensues! Dice rolls determine the outcome, and the game continues until one side retreats or is wiped out. Controlling areas earns Points of Control (POC), and the Germans have the advantage of U-boats, which can harass the Allies even after combat. Meanwhile, the Allies must escort convoys across the Atlantic—reaching England scores one POC, but making it to Russia is a triple score! With detailed miniatures and a large battle map, the game is fast-paced and action-packed, perfect for fans of historical naval strategy.
