What you do in a play session

Welcome to the darkest possible future, where there is only war. Warhammer 40K 9th Edition is the most polished version yet of the legendary miniatures wargame, with clearer rules and a ruthless tactical battle system. Here you build your army (Space Marines, Orks, Chaos or 20+ other factions), paint the miniatures however you like, and take them to the battlefield in missions full of strategic objectives. The new edition brought key tweaks: more intuitive unit coherency distances, multi-level combat (yes, now you can fight on rooftops!), and a Command Phase that organizes those little rules we always forgot. The rulebook is a massive 368-page tome covering everything - from assembling miniatures to epic narrative campaigns. But don't panic: text dependency is low (once you memorize icons and measurements, the game flows). Get ready for 2h-4h matches where every decision matters, every missed shot can cost you victory, and there's no such thing as 'casual play' - only total war.
