About the game
What you do in a play session
Wayfare is an abstract strategy game for two players, each controlling pieces (Guides and Adventurers) on a hexagonal board. The goal is to lead your Adventurers to the central chamber, establishing dominance over it. The board represents an ancient enclosure, with concentric rings symbolizing different levels leading to the center. Guides move in straight lines, capturing opponent pieces by jumping over them — turning them into your Adventurers. Adventurers have more flexible movement, changing direction freely but always advancing toward the center. Every move must bring your pieces closer to the final objective, either by reducing the distance to the center or aligning better with central lines. The game ends when no player can move, and victory goes to whoever has Adventurers closest to the center. Get ready for a brainy duel full of tactical maneuvers and strategic planning!
