About the game
What you do in a play session
Who Goes There? is a cooperative horror experience that will test your trust limits. At first, everyone is human and cooperation is essential to survive the hostile Antarctic climate. But as the game progresses, paranoia grows - is that friend offering you a medkit really human, or already infected by the alien creature infiltrating the camp? The second edition brought improvements like the Frostbite mechanic that reduces early elimination, and new events that ramp up the tension. You'll need to build equipment, manage resources, and most importantly, decide who to trust. The game plays with this duality: you need others to survive, but every interaction is a risk. Decisions are tough - staying in camp is safe, but only by exploring outside can you find resources to win. Get ready for nights of suspicion, accusations, and lots of mistrust. After all, in the Antarctic ice, the biggest threat might be sitting right next to you at the table.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
How many players are ideal?
Works best with 4-6, as it increases mutual suspicion. With 3 it lacks tension.
How complex is it?
Medium (2.8/5 on BGG). The rules aren't complex, but the strategic decisions are challenging.
Does it need translation?
Yes, the game has text on cards. Some groups use translated sheets or mark the cards.
How does player elimination work?
In the 2nd edition it's less punishing thanks to the Frostbite mechanic, but can still happen.
Is it worth upgrading from 1st edition?
Yes, the mechanical improvements and balancing justify the upgrade.
Is there a solo scenario?
No, it's strictly multiplayer (3-6 players). The fun lies in human interaction/suspicion.
