About the game
What you do in a play session
If you're looking for a way to test your reflexes while having a blast with your crew, Whoosh: Bounty Hunters is your game! The premise is pure adrenaline: you are a bounty hunter trying to capture monsters before your friends do. The setup is super simple: each player receives a face-down pile of cards representing their weapons and spells. In the center of the table, three monster piles are placed, each with a revealed card showing what's needed to defeat it. Each monster has a specific 'cost' for capture, which could be a combination of weapons and/or spells. The game moves at a frantic pace: players reveal their cards one by one in sequence, but the secret lies in speed. As soon as the revealed cards meet the exact requirements for one of the monsters in the center, the first player to react and slam their hand on it captures the creature and its points. But watch out! If you're too hasty and try to capture a monster before the requirements are fully met, it backfires and you get negative points instead. It's the kind of game that makes everyone shout and laugh while trying not to miss. Once the monster piles run out, the game ends, and the player with the most bounty points wins. It's fast, chaotic, and perfect for breaking the ice at any game night or party!
