About the game
What you do in a play session
Hey there, mutant! After the Phoenix event, the world is on fire with the emergence of new mutants. In X-Men: Mutant Revolution, you take on the role of an iconic leader like Wolverine, Cyclops, Magneto, or Storm, each with their own powers and a unique vision for the mutant future. Things are serious: will you unite humans and mutants, or will total chaos ensue?
The game is an intense battle for 3 to 4 players, where each commands their own mutant school. The goal is to recruit heroes and students, train them, and send them on missions to spread their ideology worldwide. To achieve this, you'll use a mix of hand management, dice rolling, and, of course, some good old 'take that' to hinder rivals. There are auctions to compete for resources and very different player powers that change the game with each playthrough.
Based on Spartacus: A Game of Blood and Treachery, X-Men: Mutant Revolution features incredible miniatures with HeroClix technology, adding that special touch for those who appreciate the visuals. Prepare for a game with plenty of interaction, tough decisions, and lots of X-Men theme. It's a game that requires some dedication, especially in reading the cards, but the reward is an immersive experience in the mutant universe. If you're an X-Men fan and enjoy games with direct interaction and unique powers, this might be your jam!
