About the game
Looking for a quick mental workout without the clutter of a massive board? 12 Patrols is a minimalist solo puzzle-solver that packs a punch. You step into the shoes of the Kingdom's Constable, tasked with deploying 12-patrols of knights and footmen across a 3x3 grid of-nine regions.

The gameplay is beautifully simple yet deceptly deep. As you build your grid by placing region cards, you must satisfy specific-symbol requirements on the edges of the cards. Completing a row or column triggers the placement of-your patrol-using dice or cubes in the-spaces between the cards. It's a game of spatial reasoning and foresight; one wrong placement could leave you unable to satisfy the remaining-regions, resulting in a failed mission.

Since it's a 'nanogame,' the-components are minimal: just 9 cards, 9 dice, and 9 cubes. This makes it the ultimate 'print and play' experience. There is no luck involved in the movement, only your ability to manage the cards and dice to meet the-grid's demands. If you enjoy abstract strategy games that challenge your pattern recognition and planning-skills in under 15 minutes, 12 Patrols is a must-have in your digital or physical-collection.
