About the game
In 12 Rivers, we journey to a universe where humans and nature live in harmony, all thanks to the God of Nature who provides resources year after year. The deal is that these resources flow down the rivers, and people use alpacas to collect this 'Nature's Bounty' to ensure a prosperous year. In each game, you lead one of four tribes, sending your warriors up the mountain to camp near the rivers and gather what nature offers. The closer you go to the river's source, the more valuable the treasures, but be prepared to spend more, as camping tools become more expensive! The game lasts five rounds, and at the end, we score based on the rarity of the rewards each tribe managed to bring back to the village. It's a light game, featuring worker placement and set collection mechanics, perfect for those who enjoy a calmer theme and a more relaxed gameplay. The art and 3D components add a special charm, and the theme of cute animals with fairies and elves makes everything even more enchanting. If you're looking for a more contemplative experience with a touch of fantasy, 12 Rivers might be a great choice to gather the family or play with friends who are new to the hobby.
