In Kingswood, the king has summoned the realm's most prestigious Guilds for an urgent quest: rid the surrounding forest of menacing monsters. The Guild that accumulates the most fame and glory will be rewarded with unparalleled prestige. Players take control of the Guild's adventurers, moving them through a vibrant village. The primary goal is to collect and manage essential resources by visiting locations such as the Blacksmith for swords, the Academy for spell books, the Market for coins, and the Tavern for hearts – perhaps a dose of liquid courage? The game also offers seven other special locations, with one being used in each game, ensuring surprising variety with every new journey. Once your resources are in order, it's time to venture into the Forest, where monsters of all kinds await. Defeating them earns glory points and, in some cases, immediate benefits. The first player to reach 20 glory points triggers the end of the game, and after everyone has had an equal number of turns, the Guild leader with the highest total score is crowned victorious. Kingswood stands out for its action rotation mechanism, where each adventurer's movement choice affects other players' options, as everyone shares the same group of heroes.
