What you do in a play session
In Das Amulett, your mission is clear: collect jewels to assemble the perfect amulet! To win, you need seven different colored jewels or eight jewels of any kind. Each round, powerful spell cards are auctioned off using a fixed set of energy stones that each player possesses (ten for the entire game). The winning bidder places their energy stones on the spell card, which remains in play for a duration determined by the number of stones. The cool part is that these stones are recycled: each turn, some are removed from the cards and return to the bidding pool, keeping the game's economy constantly flowing. Spell cards not only provide resource production (four types of metals, which you'll use to bid for jewels on the main board), but also often grant a special ability that can turn the tide of the game! It's a race to complete your amulet, with plenty of interaction and strategy in the auctions. Oh, and if you enjoy Wizard's Brew, know that Das Amulett is the original version that inspired it!
