About the game

What you do in a play session

The Mines of Zavandor is a strategy and economy game set in the fantastical world of Zavandor, where you take on the role of dwarven miners seeking riches and power. The game revolves around collecting four types of gems, which serve as currency to acquire upgrades and advantages. Each player manages their own mine, developing skills and equipment to maximize gem production. The auction mechanic is central, with players competing to acquire new objects and upgrades, while tech tracks allow them to enhance their operations. The variability of player abilities and the need to negotiate and plan strategies make each game unique. The game ends after 10 to 12 rounds when players reach the Coronation Chamber, and the winner is the one who has accumulated the most victory points.
