Aegean Sea features five distinct factions – Athenians, Spartans, Cretans, Rhodians, and Ephesians – each with its own deck, and the coolest part is, each island card is unique, with special game text that can change the course of the game. Islands are laid face-up in the center of the table, and you can use other cards to add elements to them: boats for transport, population to secure your influence and collect goods, and temples that, with goods, grant you that extra hand of cards. And the goods? Well, they're worth the points you need to win!
