In African Park, you step into the shoes of a dedicated park ranger, tasked with managing a nature reserve and ensuring the well-being of its inhabitants. Each round, your mission is to welcome a new animal, but it's not as simple as it sounds! You need to consider each species' specific living conditions and individual needs for them to thrive in the reserve. The main challenge is to position your animals as intelligently as possible, making the most of the terrain conditions and their coexistence with other creatures already settled. Each card represents an animal and its preferred habitat. When introducing a new animal, you must respect its natural habitat and consider how it will interact with its neighbors. Well-accommodated animals, with enough space and in harmony, yield valuable victory points. On the other hand, if an animal is 'mistreated' – either due to lack of space or becoming easy prey for others – you will lose points. The game uses enclosure and open drafting mechanics in a fun and accessible way, with an attractive design that captivates players. Whoever manages to create the most balanced and welcoming environment for the fauna in their reserve will be the grand winner!
