About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready to defend your territory in Age of Towers, a game that brings the thrill of tower defense video games to your tabletop! Whether playing solo or with up to three friends, the objective is clear: protect your city from the approaching monster horde. To achieve this, you'll need to build towers, set traps, and perhaps even nudge monsters towards your opponents' paths. Each turn is divided into three phases: night, where monsters advance and events occur; dawn, when your towers attack; and day, where you get to perform two actions to strengthen your defenses or hinder rivals. Actions include taking on quests for resources, building towers, expanding routes to guide monsters, or interacting with the market. Monsters have varying speeds and abilities, and a powerful boss emerges to test your limits. Losing city guards means fewer points at the end, but the game only concludes when the boss is defeated. Victory is yours if you score the most points, combining remaining guards, damage dealt to the boss, and secret achievements. Age of Towers demands attention and strategy to manage resources and anticipate threats, making it a great choice for fans of the genre seeking both solo and competitive challenges.
