About the game
Crusaders: Thy Will Be Done puts you in the shoes of a Templar order leader tasked with spreading influence across medieval Europe. Each player moves knights across a hexagonal board, erects religious and civil buildings, and launches crusades to claim territory. The core mechanic is a personal rondel – a rotating wheel that dictates available actions such as move, build, recruit, or research – and it can be upgraded as the game progresses. Factions have unique powers, letting you tailor the strategy to your preferred playstyle.

Movement occurs on a hex grid, using movement points that limit how far your knights can travel each turn. A Mancala‑style resource pit governs the distribution and capture of tokens for extra scoring. Area majority is vital: controlling more hexes yields influence bonuses, while tech tracks provide long‑term advantages. When the orders become too strong, King Philip gets nervous and dissolves all Templar orders, ending the game and tallying victory points, including end‑game bonuses.

Featuring sturdy wooden components, a detailed European map, and minimal rule text, the game is quick to learn yet offers enough strategic depth to keep seasoned players hooked for 40‑60 minutes. Perfect for fans of medieval themes, territory building, and rondel‑plus‑resource‑management mechanics.
