About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready to face the office routine in Aggretsuko style! In "Aggretsuko: Work/Rage Balance", the goal is simple: survive the work week and get out faster than your colleagues. The game unfolds over five rounds, representing the workdays, and whoever finishes with the lowest score when the weekend arrives wins. Each player starts with 13 cards in hand, and the deck features numbers from 1 to 13, with some variations in the quantity of each. On your turn, you can play a combination of 1 to 5 cards, as long as they are of a higher value than the previous play by the round leader, or pass your turn. If everyone passes, the table is cleared, and the last player to play initiates a new sequence. A special move is "Rage", where you can use your rage card to grab a card from the table when it's cleared. Also, keep an eye out for the "Rainbow Bomb": four consecutive cards, each of a different suit. This special play can only be beaten by another, higher-value Rainbow Bomb. When someone gets rid of all their cards, the round ends. Those still holding cards in hand score points (1 to 3 per card), and if the weekend hasn't arrived yet, it's time to shuffle and start all over again. It's a fast-paced and chaotic game, perfect for those who enjoy a fun theme and a simple climbing mechanic with twists.
