About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready to expand your Alhambra with four new modules that bring fresh excitement and challenges! This fourth Alhambra expansion, like its predecessors, maintains the flexibility to combine the new modules with each other or with other expansions. The "Treasure Chamber" adds a touch of greed: collect treasures and deliver them to buildings of the matching color to secure precious points. Be careful not to leave the treasure behind! The "Architect Cards" are valuable wildcards, allowing you to remodel your Alhambra or be used as currency. Who doesn't love having options? The "Bazaars" introduce a new building type that can yield up to 24 extra points if strategically placed next to buildings of the right colors. Keep an eye on the neighborhood! Finally, the "Attackers" bring a defensive element: lookouts warn about the direction of attack, and building walls in that direction can save your points. Ignoring the warning might cost you dearly in the final scoring. With these additions, the base Alhambra game gains new strategic layers and more replayability, while retaining the essence we already know and love. It's the perfect recipe for those who want to add an extra spice to their games.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
Do I need the base Alhambra game to play this expansion?
Yes, absolutely! This is an expansion, so you need to own the base Alhambra game to use the new modules.
How many players can participate with this expansion?
The expansion maintains the player count of the base game, which is for 2 to 6 players.
Does the game become much more complicated with these new rules?
The complexity increases slightly, but gradually, as there are four modules you can introduce piece by piece. The base game's weight is medium, and the expansion adds layers without making everything excessively complicated.
How much extra playtime does this expansion add?
Generally, the expansion can add about 15-20 minutes to the playtime, depending on how players adapt to the new modules and how many they choose to use.
Can I mix the modules from this expansion with those from other Alhambra expansions?
Yes! The great advantage of this expansion is precisely its flexibility. You can combine its modules with each other and with modules from other expansions to create unique games.
What are the main new elements this expansion brings?
It introduces treasures that need to be delivered to specific buildings, architect cards with dual use (remodeling or money), bazaars that score by adjacency, and a defense mechanism against 'attackers' that can affect the final score.
