About the game

What you do in a play session

Ascension: Delirium throws you into a world where dreams and nightmares come alive, and only you can save the realm of Vigil! This expansion (which also works as a standalone game) has you recruiting legendary heroes and using the power of the Dreamborn to fight the forces of Delirium. The new twist here is the special die and insight abilities, adding unique flavor to the series' classic deck-building strategies. In about 30 minutes, you'll build your deck, plan moves, and try to outscore your opponents. It plays solo or with up to 4 people (or 6 if combined with other sets). And hey, even though it's in English, the cards are pretty intuitive - after one game, everyone gets the hang of it!

7 questions
Do I need other Ascension games to play?
Nope! Delirium works perfectly on its own. But if you want, you can mix it with other sets to increase player count.
How long does a game take?
About 30 minutes on average, but can be quicker when everyone knows the rules. Perfect for a quick match after lunch!
Is it hard to learn?
Not at all! If you've played any deck-builder before, you'll get it in 5 minutes. New to the genre? 15 minutes max. Cards have clear text and examples.
Is it good for solo play?
Absolutely! The solo mode is well-designed and challenging. There's even a community creating custom solo challenges.
Are the cards in Portuguese?
No, all cards are in English. But don't worry - icons are intuitive and vocabulary is simple (no wall of text here).
How is it different from other Ascension games?
Besides the dream theme, Delirium adds the special die and insight cards that grant extra powers when you accumulate certain resources.
