Get ready for a trip back to 1935 with **Attack!**, a wargame that puts you in command of a nation during World War II. Forget overly complex simulations; here, the idea is to have simple, straightforward rules so you can dive into the atmosphere of expansion and conflict without a headache. The objective is clear: expand your influence across the world, whether through strategic diplomacy or good old military conquest. Each player starts with a few regions and military units, including their capital, and from there, the globe is your playground. The game is divided into three main subsystems that integrate seamlessly. Land combat is a simple system where each unit type (infantry, tank, artillery, air) has its historical advantages. Sea combat brings an interesting dynamic with submarines, battleships, destroyers, and aircraft carriers, each with specific dice bonuses, making naval battles quite strategic. And to keep the war machine running, we have the economic system. You collect resource, factory, transport network, and oil cards, and if you manage to assemble a complete set, your profits double! Units are represented by high-quality plastic miniatures, in two sizes, which add an incredible visual touch to the board. The initial map covers the Western Hemisphere, but expansions can take the war to Asia and the Pacific. Both land and naval combats are resolved with special dice that indicate which of your units hit the target, encouraging the diversification of your forces. It's a long game, yes, but the tension and strategy of each turn, with more troops entering the field, ensure you'll be glued to your seat until the last attack!
